Lógica E.M. S.A. was stablished in the beginning of 2008 after the conclusion of Amareleja's 45,78 MW PV plant. Nowadays Lógica E.M. S.A. is the owner of an accredited laboratory with the highest quality equipments for the complete verification of IEC standards for PV industry.
Moreover, also consultancy service are provided at all domains of photovoltaic technology.
The strategic goals of PTM are:
Contribute for the creation of new R&D and Technological industries that aim to be a social added value for city of Moura and surrounding region;
Provide physical structures and services to support the implementation of business activities in the Park, ensuring a compatibility between investors (private and public) and the resulting partnerships as an added value of a correct management in terms of time and space;
Development of management tool that can be able to pursue new demanding and dynamic projects;
To give a contribution to the business development and improvement to the County of Moura as through new investment as a way to benefit the local economy and society;
Promote the right conditions for strategic partnerships in order to constitute a regional and national cluster in the area of renewable energies.
PTM is in a stage growing infrastructures and has already built two important business units:
Moura's Solar Manufacturer, a PV assembling factory with a total producing capacity of 40 MW/ year and 100 employees;
Start-ups Hosting Center of Moura, which reduces the initial investment by providing common services to the installed businesses. This infrastructure has a training room for 50 persons, a meeting room, reception, 4 office rooms (with a total area of 98 sqm), 6 multifunctional spaces for businesses implementation (with a total area of 490 sqm). The occupancy rate is about 80%.
Furthermore, an entrepreneurship grant was created with 50 promoters which means an occupation of 123035 sqm, contributing for new 200 employees.
Lógica E.M. building is in final stage of construction. It hosts a renewable energies laboratory and a plenty of energy research units with platforms for tests and analysis and a sustainable construction unit for monitoring of energy efficiency data.
The Technological Park of Moura (portuguese denomination: Parque Tecnológico de Moura – PTM) is 342313 sqm, which is located in the south of Moura city.
The park's target is the start-up of economic activities and industries in the area of sustainability, such as: renewable energies laboratory, R&D and demonstration units, sustainable construction, emerging energy resources, environmental industries and technological integration. Besides all activities, PTM has a great green area with privilege for informal open air activities.
Beyond the physical aspects, PTM aims to develop other activities like: support start-ups and improvement of existing companies, industries internationalization through strategic networking, promotion and execution of R&D industrial projects, demonstration of good practices and results, education and training, as well as support to entrepreneurship.
his project has the following strategic purposes:
Provide solutions to turn Lógica's headquarters into a “zero emissions” building due to solar energy and geothermal systems for passive interior climate. The combination of different systems also include: rainwater harvesting, intelligent and economical lighting and natural lighting for the building interior;
Build up an energy monitoring system according the parameters that allow the evaluation of energy performance, interior air quality, production and consumption of passive and inductive energy. Also a dedicated section for the study of energetic conditions and thermal behavior associated to construction techniques;
Demonstrate the potential of integrated energy systems base on data login, data processing and public release;
Build a house for demonstration of innovative and sustainable construction techniques, energy efficiency and solar energy use.
This project is co-funded by INAlentejo.
This project is based on research and demonstration and intends to create a renewable energies innovative system by developing a prototype for electric energy generation based solar thermal concentration with an energy storage system.
The foundations of this project consist in the use of a well known but not spread technology and the barriers for its usage extension.
This is one more step for R&D promotion in emerging technologies with the contribution of universities, that will led into a regional development launching Moura's county in the areas of science and technology. This project is co-funded by INAlentejo.
This project is based on evidences that solar and wind energy production is limited the availability of the renewable resource and can't be controlled. For this reason integrated system are better than isolated ones. The aim is to show the technical and economical feasibility of integrated systems in order to make the best use of renewable resources for energy production.
The purpose is to build a pilot unit with various integrated systems based on renewable resources that will able the use of hydrogen as an energy storage mechanism. The continuous optimization of this pilot units will provide multiple purposes for energy consumption as electricity and heat to be used in domestic hot water the environment climate.
The range of advantages includes, low size of the system, easy integration into delicate urban environments, decentralized installations next to the points of consumption as complement for traditional systems. The sizing of this systems will depend on the consumption profile, but in some cases it can satisfy all the energetic needs.
This Project is Co-funded by INAlentejo in the sphere of “Programa Estratégico da REDE ECOS” - Energy and Sustainable buildings.
R&D project that aims to develop a system for PV modules inspection. This demanding system will allow us to go further that the required at international standard by using advanced luminescence techniques. The application of this techniques will led into a more rigorous quality control procedure as well as better technical capacity for certification tests and evaluation.
ELVIS project has strategic partnerships with technological companies and R&D institutes, which intends to launch a solution for emerging photovoltaic markets, such as India, China or United States.
This R&D project is funded by QREN (Quadro de Referência Estratégica Nacional), also with funds from EU and FEDER (Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional) through COMPETE – Programa Operacional Fatores de Competitividade.
a) promover a educação de professores e alunos no domínio da energia, da sustentabilidade e da tecnologia;
b) promover a sensibilização e educação das comunidades para a eficiência energética, redução do consumo de energia, produção de energia a partir de fontes renováveis, gestão racional de recursos e potencialidades dos territórios;
c) promover a difusão do conhecimento científico;
